Monotonous

Bernie was a gray cat who lived in a small house with his owner, Mr. Johnson. Every day, Bernie's routine was the same: he would wake up at the crack of dawn, eat his breakfast, and then spend the rest of the day napping or staring out the window. Bernie's life was monotonous and he often felt bored. One day, Mr. Johnson brought home a new toy for Bernie - a bright red ball. At first, Bernie was hesitant to play with it, but as soon as he gave it a try, he realized how much fun it was. He batted the ball around the house, chasing it from room to room. For the first time in a long time, Bernie's day was no longer monotonous. He played with the ball for hours, until he was exhausted and ready for a nap. When he woke up, he was excited to play with the ball again. From that day on, Bernie's life was no longer monotonous. He played with the ball every day, always finding new ways to enjoy it. Even Mr. Johnson could see how much happier Bernie was with his new toy. Bernie realized that sometimes, a small change can make a big difference in life.
