Bernie the cat was a friendly feline who loved to explore the world around him. One day, he came across a group of cats who were hissing and spitting at a newcomer. Bernie was confused and asked what was going on. One of the cats, a grumpy tabby, replied, "We don't like that cat because he's different. He's not from around here."
Bernie couldn't understand why the other cats were being so mean. He knew that everyone was unique in their own way and that it was important to accept others, no matter where they came from.
As the days went by, Bernie made friends with the newcomer and learned that he was from a far-off land. The other cats eventually came around and realized that their xenophobia was unnecessary. They too became friends with the new cat, and the group became even stronger because of their diversity.
Bernie was proud to have helped change the attitude of his fellow cats and knew that, with a little understanding, everyone could live together in harmony.
