Bernie was a curious cat, always up for an adventure. One day, he decided to explore the attic of his owner's house. As he climbed up the stairs, he couldn't help but notice the dusty and cluttered space. He cautiously walked around, sniffing every corner. Suddenly, he heard a loud noise and jumped in fright. It was just a stack of boxes that had fallen over, revealing an old and rusty lamp.
Being the curious cat he was, Bernie started to paw at the lamp. Suddenly, a genie appeared! But this genie wasn't like any other genie Bernie had ever seen before. He was quite inept, and instead of granting Bernie's wishes, he kept getting them all wrong. Bernie got frustrated and told the genie to go away.
As Bernie left the attic, he couldn't help but feel disappointed. He wished he had found a more competent genie who could have granted his wishes. But then he realized that sometimes things don't go as planned and that it's okay to make mistakes. Bernie learned that being inept doesn't mean you can't keep trying and improving.
