Gratifying

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful cat named Bernie. Bernie was a curious cat who loved to explore the world around him. One day, he came across a strange looking plant. Curious as always, Bernie sniffed the plant and suddenly felt a gratifying sensation all over his body. He felt energized and happy. From that day on, Bernie would often seek out that plant and indulge in the gratifying sensation it gave him. However, one day, Bernie couldn't find the plant. He searched high and low but it was nowhere to be found. Bernie was disappointed and frustrated. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, but Bernie never gave up his search. He asked all the animals he met if they had seen the plant, but nobody had. Just when Bernie was about to give up, he stumbled upon the plant again. He was overjoyed and felt the same gratifying sensation he had felt before. Bernie realized that the gratifying sensation was not worth the frustration and disappointment he had felt while searching for the plant. From then on, he decided to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, like a warm sunny day or a good meal, rather than constantly seeking out gratifying experiences.
