Once upon a time, there was a cat named Bernie who lived in a small village. Bernie was known to be a very ethical cat. He always made sure to do what was right, even if it meant going against his own interests.
One day, Bernie saw a mouse struggling to get out of a trap. Bernie knew that he could easily catch the mouse and have a nice meal, but he also knew that it would be unethical to do so. Instead, Bernie decided to help the mouse out of the trap and watched as it ran away.
Later that day, Bernie saw a group of birds fighting over some seeds. One bird was getting bullied by the others, and Bernie knew that it was not ethical for them to treat the bird that way. So, Bernie intervened and made sure that all of the birds got an equal share of the seeds.
As Bernie walked through the village, he saw many examples of unethical behavior. But he always did his best to make things right. And in the end, Bernie's ethical behavior inspired others to follow his lead.
From that day on, Bernie became known as the most ethical cat in the village. And he continued to teach others the importance of doing what is right, even when it's not easy.
